She felt everything, then she felt nothing at all.
Visions of Green Leprechauns Dancing in my head.
It’s a holiday,
A great excuse to put away your
sorrows.
Celebrate the good,
Save everything else for another
time.
Immerse yourself
Enchanting (ly)
Blissful (ly)
Four leaf clovers,
Guinness flowing,
Jameson poured.
Debauchery all in good nature.
Jig, Laugh, Hug.
Fall over,
Stumble, Occasional (ly).
Cheers, Salute, Be Merry.

Do not think that it’s a mere Fairytale,
Believe it.
Act as if Midnight is quickly,
Approaching.
Waiting for the dream is wasteful,
It cannot, It will not,
Find you.
You must seek it.
It will happen;
Patience is not a virtue.

Yep I just went there. Yep I am feeling frisky this Friday.
Generally Fridays are all about setting goals, getting out there and taking risks. Not this Friday.
This Friday I plan on celebrating; I finished my first quarter successfully.
Not only that but I shared some of my writing and guess what? People close to me enjoyed it… I know it was a pleasant surprise!
So instead of talking about inspiration or taking a new step I am encouraging everyone to take the time and celebrate.
I am sure you have done something great no matter how small this week.
Go on do a little dance in victory, don’t deny it. I know you want to.
Get Down On It.
Just Dance.
If would be fair if you asked me if I had hit my head some time in the past month. The answer would be no but it would be a great excuse. It’s not like I am taking classes, working at the job that pays my bills, and working on two other novels or anything during the month of April. Oh no wait I am. None the less I have decided to add yet another project and this time it comes with a deadline outside my control. I am going to participate in Camp Nanowrimo and you know just add another 50,000 words to the month. It will be fun, the book idea I have decided on will be fun and the deadline makes it a great challenge. I have never backed down from a challenge.
So I ask you my followers, anyone care to join me? We could bunk together? And no that is not as creepy as it sounds.. We can also do word sprints and lament the fact that we took it on together.
I mean what excuse is there not to?

At dawn it begins,
Unknowingly I start,
Anticipation.

Lost in the journey,
Challenges posed at each step,
Acceptance of fate.

Fearlessly driving,
The outcome is daring you,

So It Begins…
She was locked in an intense battle, the odds were neatly stacked against her. It was clear to all that saw her that she was fighting and unwinnable war. It was clear to anyone, everyone but her. To her it was only a matter of time before she would come out victorious. She had the answer tucked away in her pocket. She needed to wait for the opportune moment. For only a moment would be required to snatch victory.
A howl of pain and emotion escaped her throat. There wasn’t much time left now. The line between success and failure was beginning to fade into the morning mist. It was quickly becoming a battle just for survival, it was time. Time to pull out her last resort. Crawling across the break room she reached for it. Her finger tips touched than gripped the powerful mug. The coffee elixir would get her through her current work day.
But alas the battle would begin anew tomorrow.
Predatory, sweeping in from above.
The prey had no chance of survival.
It was not fair,
Natural order can rarely be fair.
The little birds try to put up a fight.
Dive, maneuver, hope for a break;
The end always seems,
Inevitable.
But once and a while nature,
Allows for an opportunity.
Taken.
Just Once.
The possibility.
