Is it better to be on the inside or out?
The fog suggests greater warmth within, the sunlights hints of substantial beauty on the periphery.
To have both is impossible, each ruins the promise made by the other.
It is not merely a matter of which path, if only it could be that simple.
You might be surprised to find both can work. Neither is permanent.

I think the windows frame the outside view nicely, and our imaginations can fill in any missing or obscured parts. The contrast between warmth and cold makes a statement as well. Outside in the winter, it’s predominantly white. Adding the frames adds a more investigatory approach. So in my opinion, perspective viewed from within, in the winter, is better…
