Two standing, one fallen.
Two proud, one now lacking the power to stand tall.
Against the backdrop their position could not be clearer.
Two understand that one day, one day their time will come.
Until then- the two will take advantage of each opportunity, ray of sunshine.
No one wants the final fall to be made in vain.
Sorry I haven’t been posting regularly, I was working the stairs of NaNoWriMo.
Good news, I hit 50,000 words- even better news I will be back to my regular routine.
Alter recipes,
Have someone else stir it up,
With trust taste evolves.
Unrealistic Expectations are the Best Expectations.
I thought about writing this part later but nothing that can make sense makes sense without it.

How are my fellow writers doing with their word counts for NaNoWrimo?
I hit 15k tonight and that means I am ahead of schedule for the month which I seem to do every year. It’s the whole finishing thing that gets tricky.

This year I have had more fun than ever creating unique chapter titles.
Put the words to the page-
Don’t read them once you finish the sentence.
Go on, move forward take them at face value.
Complete that thought whether it hurts or feels empowering.
I thought I knew it all that everything made sense. I didn’t expect for my understanding to spin out of control. Surprisingly I am grateful for the new awareness as the page is flipped to the next chapter.
I thought this was a great quote since a lot of us are in the midst of NaNoWriMo. How is everyone doing? Two days in and I am in track but now comes the tricky work week.
Fallen but its beauty only changes.
Gone is the prestige of standing tall and proud.
It’s replaced by an understanding that there is an opportunity to give back.
From a new perspective the view of the world doesn’t change but what can be offered has changed forever.
