I really should focus on keeping it in my head instead of blurting things out loud from my cubicle.
I should also probably stop giving everyone I come across a nickname…. and creating an elaborate inappropriate backstories…
I should and I could but let’s be honest I won’t 😉

You watch as I position myself to capture just the right angle and clearly you’re not impressed.
The question is who is imposing of who’s territory?
Either, or, and of course both.
Friday just feels better cruising home in my new Silver Stallion-
Windows down, Music up- Inspiration and Imagination on overdrive.
Things I have not been able to do for approximately the last three weeks:
-Get creative for my class projects (a story about a lime green chair deserves a chance)
-Blog creatively (you can pretend otherwise but we both know it’s the truth)
-Edit my current Work In Progress (I hate the working title so that will be my excuse)
Essentially I have been caught in a pool of creative stagnation.
So of course I did what any logical writer would do… I started a new novel. I am not even going to deny that the fact it is set in Vegas is me projecting.
What do you do to get going again?
The sunny disposition of yellow warms the smile.
The red dares you to consider what lays beneath the surface.

As you look and look again one of the colors is calling to you.
Will you answer the siren’s call?
These lanes only go left.
This light only allows you to turn when it’s green.
The birds do as they please, chirping their laughter at you
As they are free; free to go east or west, free to go north and south, no restrictions can ever be placed.
The birds can not allow it.
Why, why exactly should you?
Always there just off in the distance,
Lurking.
Continuing its approach undaunted by outside forces,
Preparing.
Calculating how much effort is needed for success and then doubling it,
Attacking.
Undismayed by its result, entitled to its position,
Savoring,
The victory rightfully theirs.
