OH YES, I love this and whole-heatedly agree! I write my best stuff at 2am!
Too often I excitedly plop into bed, only to groan and grab my notebook because I just thought up the best few lines to a poem… or the whole thing.
Other nights I am the only one in the house awake… and this seems to free my mind, inspire me more than other times of the day. So I very much relate to this. I even wrote a poem about this phenomenon once.
