A Tepee in The Junipers

greentepee

On a cool balmy morning the mist still covering the low laying hills, the separation of structure and nature is gone. Seamlessly the tepee has risen from the earth; creating a fortress only previously seen in fairytales. This is the type of place where a good book is meant to be written or read, it can take a person to another place. Happy Friday!

Fireplace Friday

When I started posting on Fridays this was the type photo that I found to be inspiring. I have never had a fireplace so the idea of turning one into a place to store all of my beloved books sounds fabulous, unless of course the heat goes out and its a cold winter’s night. I could just imagine curling up on a big, fluffy coach and diving into one of the classics, the fireplace being a portal for my imagination.

Friday in Finland?

As I was cruising around the internet, yes cruising, looking for the perfect post for my favorite theme of Friday Dreamin’ I came across this gem. This is located in Finland where you can rent an igloo and literally sleep under the Northern Ligts, I can only imagine how beautiful that must be. I would love to do some writing under the window-roof with a sight like that playing out above me, Happy Friday Everyone!

The Hunt for Inspiration

The simple, the mundane it can

always be found within

the toughest task is to be

willing, willing to look.

The beauty can show through

or it can be felt, the

wildcard is who for it

is easy to overlook.

Take the time to

fully absorb the moment,

opportunity too often floats

by.

Behind the facade, behind

the mist lays your

greatest accomplishment just

waiting, waiting for you

to find it.

Go with Simple and Beauty Will Follow

It is a very cold Friday here in Colorado which reminds me that November is soon upon us and all the time I had to prepare for NaNoWriMo is quickly disappearing. I picked this shelf because of its combination of simplicity and beauty, something I am going to have to remember in the upcoming weeks if I want to survive writing an entire novel in one month. Happy Friday Everyone!
